     Mindfulness is a term often heard and most associated with health and well being. But what is mindfulness and how might I benefit from it and incorporate it?
Mindfulness most simply is being active and observant in the present moment. By slowing down our thinking, not dwelling on the past or looking to the future, we can be more observant of things going on around us and rising thoughts and feelings and by allowing those thoughts and feelings to come and go by accepting without judging, we can gain new perspective into ourselves.
Benefits of mindfulness include stress and depression reduction and even help in weight loss.

Not every idea may be useful to everyone, but just incorporating a few of the ideas may help you to turn those into beneficial habits.
